2024 Lunar New Year Celebration

On February 10, 2024, we celebrated the Lunar New Year with a fun-filled event at the cafeteria of Central Middle School. The event was organized by the school's Parent Teacher Association, with the support of volunteers.

The New Year celebration began with a collective greeting from the teachers. They wished everyone a happy and prosperous new year. Then, the students and teachers showcased their talents and skills by performing songs, musical instruments, poetry recitation, dancing, programming game demonstration, etc. The audience enjoyed the colorful costumes, the lively music, and the lovely performance. After that, the guests were invited to enjoy a delicious new year dinner, which featured traditional dishes such as dumplings, noodles, etc. The event ended with a fun and interactive session, where the kids had the opportunity to play games, get balloon animals, and cotton candy. The kids also received red envelopes with lucky points that can be used at the Mall of America.

The Lunar New Year celebration was a great success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of all the teachers, students, parents, and volunteers who participated and contributed to the event. We are grateful for their support and enthusiasm, and we hope to continue this tradition in the future.

We are glad that the students and guests enjoyed the event and learned more about the Lunar New Year culture and traditions. We wish you all a happy and healthy new year!

You got to watch this video and give a shout-out to these students. They practiced conscientiously behind the stage when the teacher was too busy to supervise them. These students deserve a big round of applause for their dedication and self-discipline. They have shown that they are passionate and responsible learners who can work independently and collaboratively. We are very proud of them and their achievements. 👏👏👏 There are also many other students like them who worked hard in the classrooms and at home to prepare for this performance! Amazing students!
